Our biggest update to Ancestry Family History books. You can now create Combination Family History books to follow each side of the family back three or four generations. This book type will automatically create pages for family group sheets, timelines, and a new 3 or 4 generation family tree page. Select your book type in the editor after selecting your book size.

All books now open to a Title Page that is placed before the Table of Contents. This feature has been requested by many of our customers.

A brand-new page type - a book Dedication has been introduced, and is placed behind the title page. This page is a great place to acknowledge contributors and also provide more text details on the book.

The 11x8.5 book designs have been updated to match the larger 13x10 book.

In the editor, you can now rotate a photo in place using a Rotate button.

Added the page preview to Family History Posters

Our biggest update yet to the page editor software on MyCanvas. Page Preview is now truly WYSIWYG - (what you see is what you get). The new page preview will show the most accurate render of how a page will be printed.

Also on the Page Preview for Books is a thumbnail view of all pages that you can scroll horizontally to get a better view of your book's layout

We can now control if a page appears in the table of contents and also change the text that appears. Each page has a settings panel and in it, customers can select if the page appears in the table of contents and if it does, what text to display.

This will allow customers to reduce the size of the table and also put more meaningful titles that are different from the page title.

When on a Table of Contents page you can change fonts but not the actual text that appears. This is done on the individual pages through the Settings panel

A feature that many have asked for - you can now add a grid on the editor page to help you better align items.

The page editor now has a vertical and horizontal ruler to help you measure items as you place them. When selecting, moving and resizing items the rulers are highlighted.

Orders over $50 now have the ability to use Affirm and pay over 4 installments.
